Grape varieties: 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
This second wine comes mainly from the château’s young vines, and is made like its elder brother.
It has the same personality as the grand vin, but a shorter ageing potential and generally ready to be consumed within several years of the vintage.
Raspberry, strawberry and red cherry fruits, there is tannic structure to hold things in place, and gentle liquorice notes through the finish.
