低調傳統的巴羅洛大師

自1928年前，Cavallotto家族便已經擁有Tenuta Bricco Boschis酒莊。而於1946年，他們更是Castiglione Falletto當地首個自己釀製所有葡萄收成的酒莊。兩年之後，第一支由酒莊入樽，並貼上Cavallotto酒標及商標的巴羅洛葡萄酒於1948年正式推出市場。

現時，酒莊由第四代傳人Giuseppe及Alfio主理，他們承傳了父母Olivio及Laura的理念，繼續自己釀製所有葡萄收成。酒莊如今生產十一款DOC及DOCG級別的葡萄酒，包括Barolo, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, 使用100% Freisa葡萄釀造的Langhe Freisa, 使用100% Grignolino葡萄釀造的Langhe “Grign”, Langhe Chardonnay 及使用意大利黑皮諾Pinot Nero釀造的 “Pinner”白葡萄酒。

Cavallotto酒莊的巴羅洛來自兩塊葡萄園：第一塊是Bricco Boschis，釀造出 Barolo Bricco Boschis及Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe; 另一塊是Vignolo，釀造出Barolo Riserva Vignolo.
